The CEAA is dedicated to generating, sharing and communicating ideas and policies for peace, security and prosperity in East Asia through diverse programs among its members. The CEAA is committed to achieving the following objectives:
The CEAA aims at creating and strengthening dynamic human and knowledge networks among intellectual leaders in the region. First, the CEAA is a trans-generational network . Young leaders in each field as well as the top leadership of the region participate in the activities of the CEAA. Second, the CEAA is an international network . Leaders of the region, the United States and Europe share common visions for the future and contribute to develop peace and prosperity in the region. Third, the CEAA is a trans-sector network . The CEAA will be a comprehensive communications hub between state and society, government and business, and civil society as well.
The CEAA aims at playing a leading role in developing new ideas and agendas for peace, security and prosperity in East Asia and disseminating them throughout the region. Various specialists from government, politics, business, civil society, culture and the press participate in debates that deal with ideas and policies promoting the peace and prosperity of East Asia.
The CEAA is a truly independent, non-partisan and transnational non-governmental organization devoted to common causes in East Asia. The CEAA works for cooperation and prosperity in the region based on the principles of international participation, bipartisanism and openness.
