Global Asia and its online edition, Global Asia Online (www.globalasia.org), are published by the East Asia Foundation. Our aim is to promote serious, open and responsible debate about key policy issues affecting the future of Asia and its place in the world.
The ideas, debates and analysis that appear in Global Asia are intended to further the East Asia Foundation's commitment to peace and security, economic cooperation, greater cultural identity and social harmony, and corporate social responsibility and leadership. We do not have a fixed point of view, or an agenda. Rather, we provide a forum for distinguished thinkers, policymakers, political leaders and businessmen and women to analyze and debate the most important issues in Asia today. In doing so, we hope to help shape the future of Asia at a time when the region is poised to play an ever greater role in global affairs.
Global Asia is currently published twice a year – in September and March – in English, Korean, Chinese and Japanese. Global Asia Online is updated regularly and is published in English.
